How to cancel or refund tickets?

For various reasons, it becomes necessary to cancel the trip and return the tickets. How can I do that?

A universal way to seamlessly  return tickets is to start the process in advance. Please remember that if you have less than 24 hours prior departure, tickets are not refundable. Let's take a look at the most typical cases when a return is possible and how to properly do it.
 
 
 

 For bookings on citybus.ge or infonus.eu 

You can arrange a ticket refund yourself. 
To do this, you need to follow the link from the letter that you received in the email when booking made.
 
Please note that the cancellation is subject to partial retention of funds in accordance with the terms and conditions. The amount of the deduction depends on the time left before departure, but no later than 24 hours before departure. Tickets for departures less than 24 hrs are non-refundable, but date change option might be available no later than 6 hours before departure.
 
  • More 48 h. before departure: 10% of fare will be deducted from total amount paid.
  • From 48 h. until 24 h. before departure: 20% of fare will be deducted from total amount paid.
  • Less 24 h. before departure: The ticket is non-refundable, but date change might be possible. If you have at least 6 hours before departure, please call us for date change option, subject to fare or seat availability.
  • Less 6 h. before departure: tickets are non- refundable and non-negotiable.
  • If you purchased tickets via third party provider, in most cases tickets are non-refundable and non-negotiable. Please contact your point of sale.
 
 

 For bookings on partner websites 

If you booked tickets on the partner or third party provider such as  infobus.by  busbud.com obilet.com omio.com tutu.ru biletebi.ge and so on, please contact them directly using the contacts indicated on the website or in the ticket. 

In this case, we do not have bank information on your payment, so we cannot physically make a refund.

 For bookings via travel agents or ticket office 

If you booked a ticket at an agency or at a cash desk,
please contact the point of sale.
 
As an alternative to a refund, we can offer you a rescheduling to any other date, subject to availability of seats and/or applicable fare. If you are satisfied with this option, please indicate the date and time of the desired trip in your contact email. In this case refund policy is same as for tickets, purchased on www.citybus.ge.
 
Please note that the option to exchange travel dates cannot be guaranteed and is entirely at the discretion of the company based on operational need. However, we will do our best to find a mutually acceptable exchange option. Exchange of travel dates is not acceptable less than 8 hours prior schedulled departure.
